Graduated Licensing Program (GLP)

Aria Driving Academy is proud to partner with DriveWiseBC through their respected affiliate program. This collaboration allows us to provide students with the convenience and flexibility of DriveWiseBC’s GLP-approved online classroom curriculum, paired with Aria’s dedicated in-car training and hands-on expertise.  
Upon successful completion of this ICBC approved course within one year of the start date,  students can receive a 6-month reduction on the Novice licence stage, 2 high school credits and the program is GST exempt for teen. 
By enrolling in our GLP program, you gain access to a complete learning experience designed to help you build confidence, develop safe driving habits, and become a responsible, fully prepared driver.

How the Program Works

As a student of Aria Driving Academy, you will begin your journey with 20 hours of interactive online theory classes delivered through DriveWiseBC’s virtual learning platform. This engaging curriculum covers all essential aspects of safe and responsible driving—from understanding road signs and right-of-way rules to risk assessment and defensive driving strategies. The online format allows you to learn comfortably at your own pace, on your schedule.

After completing the classroom portion, you will move on to 8 in-car driving lessons (each 90 minutes) with one of Aria Driving Academy’s experienced, licensed instructors. Your practical training will start with foundational vehicle control and gradually progress to more advanced skills. You will gain real-world experience in various driving environments, including residential areas, main roads, highways, and busy urban settings. Lessons include parking, lane changes, turning, merging, and vehicle handling—all designed to build confidence and prepare you for the ICBC road test.

Toward the end of your training, your instructor will conduct a simulated road test, modeled after the ICBC exam. This practice test helps reduce test-day anxiety and ensures you are fully prepared for the real evaluation.
